My work is a study of the effects, changes and contradictions of ‘intimate relationships’. Relationship is the most essential connection between people, and intimacy is a state of being between ‘each other’ and ‘self’, between ‘bondage’ and ‘freedom’, a state of interaction and influence. I combine the social, individual and emotional aspects of the environment in which I find myself and vary my creations according to it. Intimacy is both a chemical process and a product of political opinion, with people seeking out similar individuals based on their upbringing and cultural background. The wonder is that it is invisible and yet it is real. Thus, it is not limited to a certain form, but is based on the spirit of the work, to find the most appropriate medium and finally to present it in a physical form.
