Interdisciplinary and often collaborative, my practice has so far included sculptures, assemblages, drawings, films, costumes, programming, and text. Commonplace structures (such as libraries or walls) are often taken as starting points in my work to support a way of working; acting as content but also ‘permission’ to think and create through them. I have a particular interest in how language defines the way we view what my mum calls “the order of things in the world”. Thus, communication and boundaries (limits, frontiers) are overarching constants in my otherwise multidirectional research.
