I prominently work with film and installation, often creating spectacle through kinetic sculptures combined with light and projection. With ‘Static Am’ (2022), old-school CTR televisions operate both as an object of sculptural interest and a means of displaying video. It examines the intersection between hardware and software, embracing the imperfections of lo-fi electronics, imagery and sound. My work engages in the world of the uncanny and disembodied, animating otherwise discarded objects into unnerving, fractured forms. An essential quality of my craft is creating a phenomenological viewership experience. At no point can the viewer experience the same combination of audio-visuals.
