I am an installation artist creating freestanding sculptures. My work is a journey that explores diverse body angles observed from working/supporting disabled people at Headway Thames Valley (Brain Injury) Charity through my own comparative measured body angles to embody within the space, society and environment. It takes influence from the ‘social model’ within Humanities, Social Sciences and its belief that it is the social and physical environment that creates the disability when the disabled body interacts with them, not the disability itself.
